There's no subfloor. What is there to inspect?
The perimeter and the roof space. On slab-on-ground housing, pests use the slab edge, weep holes in the brickwork, garage door seals and every point where services penetrate the wall. It is a different inspection from an older house and it is where the useful findings are — an interior spray without perimeter work is why some Westgate treatments underperform.
Earthworks are still happening nearby. Is it worth treating now?
Yes. Waiting only means living with it while the colony settles in, and it is harder to shift later.
